About Me

With experience working for a range of print and online publications, including HLN, CNN, The Daily Dot, Playboy, and Yahoo, I have a deep skill set in pushing creative boundaries with unconventional ideas and unique angles that generate significant page views, increase online engagement, and drive revenue.

I approach writing and editing with fierce honesty and a unique voice developed from an early background as a tech blogger. One of my superpowers is brainstorming and executing the creative process; another is shaping the writing of others.

Throughout my career, I have led teams of writers, freelancers, and reporters, consistently creating an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and a fearless commitment to challenging the status quo. My unique ability to connect with people, combined with a bias for decision-making that focuses on the human impact, has made me a successful leader as well as a highly effective mentor.

Even when I’m not working, I’m still writing and editing. I am an active member of the Atlanta Writers Club, an award-winning poet, and a published novelist of short stories, science fiction, and young adult literature. I am also the owner of Komorebi Workshop, a coaching and editing business for writers seeking help getting their stories into the world.

“You can make anything by writing.”
